Evidence sources for a child's claim
A persuasive claim draws on testimony from the surviving parent or guardian about the day to day relationship, testimony from teachers, coaches, or other adults who observed the bond, photographs and family records of shared routines, and, in appropriate cases, a child psychologist addressing the developmental impact of the loss at the child's specific age.
