Plaintiff's counsel should retain a qualified biomechanical engineer early, before the defense's own expert disclosure, to model the actual impact sequence, then cross-examine the defense expert relentlessly on whether the opinion addresses this crash or relies on generalized helmet-efficacy literature that does not map onto the facts.
