Arash Homampour On How To Handle Stress lawyer, zero, none. Are there moments that I have fears and concerns that I have to address? Absolutely and it just makes me over prepare. But, the, what uniquely distinguishes me from most human beings as a trial lawyer, is like, literally, I live for this. It is where I shine, it is where I feel most comfortable, it is where I’m the best version of myself, is handling trials and handling cases. You know, whatever I tell my clients, whatever your fears, concerns, or stressors are transfer them to me, because they will dissipate within 30 seconds or less and they literally do. My clients will have some particular issue or concern they’re worried about, they’ll call me, and within 30 seconds or less I’ll calm them down and make things ,you know, put things in perspective. I try and live a life where I have minimum stress, because the only way I can be the most powerful version of myself is that, is, if I let things go. And so as a human being I am constantly trying to let go of anything that doesn’t serve me, whether it’s unhealthy behaviors, unhealthy relationships, whether it’s focused on the past, or it’s, you know, ego, focused on how great I am, which I’d, you know, you know, I don’t. I don’t act or behave in a way where if you meet me you’re like oh this guy thinks he’s all that at all I try and be as humble as possible. I have a to-do list. On my to-do list, number three, which should be number one, is kill ego.You know I’m constantly trying to operate from an egoless place where I’m just a kind, generous, loving human being. But that includes loving yourself, taking care of yourself physically. And it allows me to live a stress less life. We all have stress. I’m not saying I don’t have it, but I think that stress has a minimal role in who I am as a trial lawyer.
