Trial lawyer Arash Homampour shares his philosophy on hiring staff.
Transcript
You know, I hired a secretary and then she would recommend a babysitter, literally, I mean we would hire someone with no legal experience whatsoever who had babysat for the secretary, but I could tell from their family upbringing you know they’re from Guatemala, they’ve had struggles, their parents are immigrants, they’ve had to fight to be in America to get to where they are, they haven’t had monetary success, but they value what’s important in life and that’s human beings and love and caring. And so we’ve been so fortunate just getting good quality human beings that care about what they do. And I find that a lot of those are from immigrant families. You know, they really just relate to the concepts of hard work. You, you don’t deserve anything, you treat everybody equally, and you care about what you do.
