The vast majority of our cases come from referrals from other attorneys who know that they need the best of the best to handle their most complex cases.

We frequently work on cases with the referring attorney as a joint venture but where we spearhead the quest for justice. Not only does this provide the best possible representation for the client (having two law firms on their case), but it also provides the referring attorney with an opportunity to work with our firm and see how we get such great results.

At the bottom of this page, watch the video where Arash shares how much joy he gets from working with other lawyers as they help make a difference for their clients.

Referring attorneys always compliment us and tell us they learn from how we organize our files, handle pleadings, prepare and enforce written discovery, take depositions, defeat summary judgment motions, mediate cases, negotiate with insurance companies, take cases to trial and try cases.

In this video, Homampour Law Firm Attorney Arash Homampour emphasizes the importance that referring attorneys understand how much they and their clients can gain by bringing in another firm when they need assistance with a large or complex case.

Arash Homampour:

It’s very important for referring attorneys to really understand how much they and their clients can gain by bringing in another firm. I frequently talk to attorneys who want me to take their case, and want me to perform magic or get some miraculous result, and I’m the first person to tell them, if I think that they can competently handle the case, get the best result for the client and not share the fee, I always encourage it because I’m not in the business of taking anybody’s money that I’m not entitled to.

But when there’s a case that is too expensive or too complicated, or the attorney knows or should know that they can get much more value for themselves and for the client by joint venturing that case with another law firm, or referring it out to another law firm, it’s really important for that attorney to know when to say when. Because at the end of the day, we all want to do the best for the client, we want to get the best result, and the attorney not only gets the benefit of a greater result for themselves, a better result for the client, they also get the opportunity to learn so that the next time they take on a large case or a case that maybe they’re not familiar with, they know how to do it, or at least know a little bit more about how to do it, so they can themselves get the better results.

*When entering into fee sharing agreements with other lawyers, Homampour Law Firm complies with all California State Bar rules at the outset of any retention and with client approval in writing.

We determine the percentage of the referral fee on each case based on the unique factors such as liability, damages and collectibility.

With no guarantees and each matter being unique, we invariably add substantial value to each matter getting outlier settlements and results that benefit both the client and referring attorney.
